Die geordnete Sammlung des Museum WITT umfasst derzeit eine Zahl von nach vorsichtiger Schätzung 2,5 bis 3 Mio. Einzeltieren in ca.20.000 Kästen 52x41cm. Somit wird sich dieses Projekt über viele Jahre hinziehen. Begonnen wird mit der Abbildung der geschlossenen Sammlung Zygaena F., die insgesamt etwa 900 Kästen umfasst.
